How did this site started?

Compro Online had humble beginnings. It started as a “project” to test the functionalities of FrontPage extensions on and my budding web development skills. The site, as almost all alumni sites at that time, was first hosted on Yahoo’s Geocities in early 2000. Surprisingly, the day after publishing, 3 alumni promptly signed up and the rest, they say, is history.

What does Compro Online: Reloaded (v.3) stands for?

Well, Compro Online has undergone numerous revisions since being first published, adding more functionalities and making it more amiable to the site users. However, it was decided that the site should be overhauled and built from scratch in the summer of 2003. It was around that time that Matrix mania was in full force with the impending release of Matrix: Reloaded. Wanting to tap into the “fever” and being an ardent Matrix fan, “Reloaded” was chosen stand for this new version (version 3) of the site. What out for Compro Online: Revolutions (v.4); hopefully it won’t disappoint unlike Matrix: Revolutions.

Why is the site so "blue"?

Hmmm, that’s a tough one. There are sets of answers, pick the one you are most comfortable with:

1. Official: The color blue is so much easier to work with and has been shown to have a sort of calming effect on people. Moreover, it seems to be the prime color for most major website.
   
   
2. Unofficial: Well, blue rocks! And Blue House is probably the best house ever in the history of Compro, both past and present. Up Blue!!!!

How do I add my link to this site?

Follow these steps:

1. Click on the "Directory" link on the your left hand; Compro Online Directory should open up.
2. Navigate to the appropriate section where you feel your link belongs.
3. Click on "Add Link" towards the top of the page and follow the instructions.

How do I disable the background music?

Provided you are using IE 5+, the site is configured to play a random tune whenever it's visited.  If you find the tune annoying, you can either change it to something more suitable for you via the drop-down menu towards the upper-center of the site; otherwise you can turn it off by clicking on "Turn Off" beside the afore mentioned drop-down menu.

How do I update my information?

Updating your information is easy:

1. Login into this site using your registered email and password
2. Click on “Update” under the Log-in Options menu to your upper right hand, a pre-filled registration form should open.
3. Make the appropriate changes.
4. Click on “Submit” at the bottom of the form.

Note:

• If you change your email address, your new email will have to be validated to complete the update. This would be done by send a key to your new email, which you’ll have to retrieve to complete the process.

How do I post pictures?

Posting pictures is easy:

1. Login into this site using your registered email and password.
2. Click on “Pictures” under the Log-in Options menu to your upper right hand, a new window should open outside.
3. Follow the instructions.

Note:

• You can upload 2 pictures simultaneously but the size of each picture must be less than or equal to 600kb. One way to bring down the size of your picture is to crop out unnecessary areas of the picture to bring focus the primary people/objects.
• For now, disregard the reunion options for the pictures.

How do I post fond memories?

Do the following:

• Login into this site using your registered email and password
• Click on “Memories” under the Log-in Options menu to your upper right hand, a new window should open outside.
• Follow the instructions

I've forgotten my password.  How do I retrieve it?

Click on “Forgotten Password” under the Login! Box on your lower left hand; a window should open outside; follow the instructions.

How do I send email to everyone in my set?
